今年は、１０月８日当日オンラインで12時間の尺八ミーティングを企画
午前・午後10時8分から、世界一斉に108回のロ (Ro) 吹きを試みます
10月8日は、語呂合わせで「尺八の日」。益々世界に広まっているShakuhachiの魅力と可能性をさらに追求しようと“世界尺八デイ”と定められました。
この日、世界の尺八愛好者が個人・グループで記念となる取り組みをしつつ、統一したテーマの下に、流派、国籍、年齢、経験、プロ・アマ等を超え、尺八基本行であるロ吹きの108回実践を提唱しています。
昨年世界41カ国210名の賛同者で呼びかけたテーマは、「コロナ禍の完全終息を願って！」でした。私達の気合いの入った祈りがロ吹きを通して天に通じたのでしょうか。
さて、今年のテーマは「静寂と平和を願って！」です。
このところの世界情勢が落ち着きません。私たち自身の尺八による心の静寂と平和が世界に繋がりますように、祈りを込めて108回のロ吹きにチャレンジ致しましょう。
さらに今年は、新たな試みとして12時間のOnline Shakuhachi Meetingを企画しました。（詳細は次頁）

どんな内容？
実行委員会で当日12時間Zoomを開放します。そして、「静寂と平和を願って！」のテーマの下、尺八演奏・献奏・合奏・パフォーマンス・スピーチ等何でも結構です。自分の思いをアピールし、世界の尺八仲間との絆を深める機会とします。
スケジュールは？
日本時間の午前10時に開会挨拶、10時8分に世界一斉の108回ロ吹きチャレンジ、その後12時間のプログラム開始、午後10時閉会挨拶、最後に午後10時8分に世界一斉108回ロ吹き再チャレンジをして完了となります。
参加者を募集します！
各人・グループのアピール時間は10分以内とします。参加ご希望の方は、国内外窓口にE-mailでお申し込みください。氏名（尺八ネーム）、国籍、希望時刻、内容等を記入してください。更に事前にプログラムを作りお送りします。参加費は無料です。Zoomへの出入りは自由、プログラムの空いている時間がありましたら飛び入り参加を歓迎します。英語・日本語の通訳付きですので気楽にどなたでもご参加いただけます。

On World Shakuhachi Day – October 8 – a 12-hour
Online Shakuhachi Gathering will take place.
We will start and finish the event playing 108 ROBUKI together
at 10:08 AM & PM (Japan Standard Time – JST)
This annual event has been created to connect the world-wide shakuhachi community.Shakuhachi enthusiasts across the world commemorate the day individually or in groups under a unified theme, transcending schools, nationalities, ages, experience, professionals and amateurs, and advocating the practice of 108 ROBUKI. Last year, more than 200 supporters from 41 countries around the world played for a complete end to the Covid-19 crisis
The theme for this year is ‘Tranquility and World Peace’ in an unsettled world.
Let’s play 108 ROBUKI as a prayer with the intension that our own feeling of tranquility and peace when playing the shakuhachi will be communicated out to the world.
This year, we have organised a 12-hour Online Shakuhachi Gathering (see next page for details). We will begin and finish with 108 ROBUKI together at 10:08 AM and PM (Japan Standard Time).
Let’s take this opportunity to deepen our bonds with our shakuhachi friends around the world.

World Shakuhachi Day 2022 Online Shakuhachi Gathering

WSD22 will take place on Saturday October 8 (10.8) 2022. The gathering will begin at 10:00 AM (JST) and finish after playing 108 ROBUKI at 10:08 PM (JST).
The event
A 12-hour World Shakuhachi Day gathering on Zoom on the theme Tranquility and World Peace. We will have a 108 ROBUKI session at the beginning and the end, the rest of the time the mic is open for everyone who has registered for a 10 min slot. You can do a shakuhachi performance, dedication, ensemble performance, speech, etc. This is an opportunity to showcase your thoughts and to bond with fellow shakuhachi players across the world.
Schedule (JST)
10:00 Welcome and opening speech. 10:08AM World-Wide 108 ROBUKI.
Approximately at 10:30-22:00 10 minutes slots for participants.
22:00 Closing remarks. 10:08PM World-Wide 108 ROBUKI.
Call for participants!
If you wish to have a 10 min. slot, please register by e-mail. Include your name, nationality, preferred time slots, and tell us what you will do. You can also just listen or participate in discussions when there is free time without performances. Or jump in and play if nothing else is happening.
The programme will be sent to you in advance. English/Japanese interpretation will be provided.
